BEWARE OF THE SO CALLED “NATIONWIDE” COMPANIES!

· Many companies found on the internet, are not located within this area, but are located many States and miles and thus dollars away.

· They do not utilize technicians certified by the American Bio-Recovery Association or certified in Hazardous waste operations.

· Taking many hours, if not days to reach you.

· Companies claiming to employ skilled emergency personnel but do not.

· They are not properly insured, they carry janitorial insurance and no pollution liability insurance which is required to protect you and your property. Ask to see their Workers Compensation Insurance.

· They are not licensed to transport regulated medical waste but they charge you for it. It is illegal to transport regulated waste in New York, New Jersey or Connecticut without the proper license. It will come back to you!

· They mark up their subcontractors invoice in order to make their money-thus you are paying more for less service.

BE AN EDUCATED CONSUMER

During stressful situations, people are vulnerable to quick talking sales people. Bio-Recovery Corporation does not employ sales people. You will meet with our certified technicians, not someone looking to make a quick buck off your sorrow.

Don’t use a Service Broker that may be located California, Illinois, Texas or some other state. They Sub-contract your cleanup request and then mark up the invoice so that they get a percentage of the job.

This type of work varies tremendously from job-to-job, beware of companies that quote you prices over the phone without seeing the work. Companies that say……...

“I need a credit card upfront in order to respond to your location.”

or

“Our minimum fee is $3500.00 just to show up”

Professional companies will always offer free no strings attached itemized estimates and will always work with your insurance carrier if they approve coverage and won’t require payment upfront.
