Alpharetta Death Cleanup from Suicide

When a person reads a news story, they only ever hear about a small portion of what occurred. At Georgia Clean, as we enter crime scenes reported in the news, we see many of the things the news never mentions: the scene itself, the grieving family, and details of what happened in the event itself. Even beyond what we observe at a crime scene cleanup, there are also far-reaching implications when events occur, a domino effect of events one after another that no person can predict.

Suicide Cleanup in Alpharetta

One such tragedy was a recent suicide in Alpharetta. A 53-year-old Georgia man who had recently been charged for crimes committed during the riot at the U.S. Capital was found dead in the basement of his home by his wife and family. Dying of a gunshot wound to his chest, his wife told the 911 operator there was “blood everywhere.”

A horrific scene for anyone to discover with no easy answers as to why, the woman was left to make sure the blood-filled scene was cleaned up properly once the police completed their investigation. Every surface of the basement needed to be cleaned and disinfected including all the tiny nooks and crannies where the blood soaked in so the family could move forward in their grief at least being safe and without the visual reminder of what occurred.

Georgia Clean is dedicated to public safety

It is Georgia Clean’s mission every day, whether we are conducting crime scene cleanup, trauma cleanup, suicide cleanup, or death cleanup, to help the public and those left behind not fear for their own physical safety at the scene of a death or accident. Instead, we work diligently and methodically at every job to make sure every drop of body fluid has been fully removed and the entire area disinfected. When we are done, the area is restored, and the property owner can rest easy knowing the building and surrounding environment is put back in order and safe from further damage.
While our staff knows we can’t bring back those who have lost their lives or take away the memories of what took place, it is our hope we were able to restore a sense of physical safety so families can grieve together in peace. Our thoughts are with those who lost their loved one in this tragedy.
